TASK 1
GAME OF THRONES
In the opening scene the three characters are Ser Waymar, Will and Gared.
WILL:
Will wants to to run away from the the predator in the woods that is wanting to kill all three of them. Ser Waymar refuses to leave otherwise they'd be known as a 'coward'. However Will is hesitant because either option he takes he knows he will die. This causes conflict between Will and Ser Waymar.
GARED:
Gared discreetly wants to go back with Will to the wall and suggest that idea however in the end is reluctant to go through with it with the same reason of being a 'coward'. Gared decides to take side with Ser Waymar and continue to find out where the dead bodies are and what killed them.
SER WAYMAR:
Ser Waymar is determined to stay in the woods despite the predator and discover what killed the bodies and where they are. Ser Waymar is the one in charge of who does what and this is where it causes conflict between the other two as they don't want to go further into the woods. It also conflicts with the fact the dead bodies aren't actually there.

a) What is the general series arc?
A young girl (Jasmine) has a track record for theft as she doesn't come from a very wealthy background. She has been caught multiple times but never anything serious. Then there is one time where she is in the local shop and gets caught, fortunately the shop keeper lets it go however in disguise there is a police officer. The police officer follows her but the not for this reason. This is when a relationship develops between the police officer and Jasmine.
b) What is the episode arc?
The episode arc is trying to find out why the undercover police officer is after Jasmine and Jasmine is clueless of why he is after her. There are secrets which come uncovered towards the end.

The opening scene will be Jasmine running away from the police (the crime hasn't been explain yet). It shows police cars driving in the streets. The set is early hours of the evening in New York. The police chase her until they get to a back alley where they eventually loose her. Then it follows to Jasmines apartment, where it shows her every day to day life, cooking, cleaning, sleeping etc. The scene then moves to the next day with Jasmines life as a cleaner in a nearby hotel.

- The first conflict is where the police are chasing after Jasmine but loose her in the alley when she jumps over the gates
- The second will be as Jasmine tries to walk out the shop having got caught for theft
- The third conflict will be when Jasmine is getting followed by the undercover police officer, she speeds up to get away from him. She sees a bus at the bus stop, as she gets on and the undercover policeman gets closer the bus doors shut and drives away.
